We understand that finding a new home for your dog can be a difficult decision. We help families in our area connect with adopters and work toward a loving, suitable home for their pets.
To be considered for our rehoming services, dogs must already be spayed or neutered. We also require veterinary records showing their vaccination status. If your dog is not up to date on vaccines, or you cannot provide proof from your veterinarian, we ask for a $30 surrender fee per dog to help cover vaccination costs.
We ask that your dog remain in your home until we find an adopter. Staying in a familiar environment helps reduce their stress and keeps space available at Buddy’s House for dogs we rescue from euthanasia lists.
Meet-and-greets typically take place at Buddy’s House to provide a neutral setting. You are welcome to meet the potential adopters, share what makes your dog special, and answer questions about their routines, personality, and needs—you know your pet best! If both families are comfortable, you may also exchange contact information.
Please complete our rehoming form below for consideration. We’ll review your information and get back to you about how we may be able to help.
Please email a copy of your pet's vaccination and spay/neuter records.
Please also include recent pictures of your pet so we can get them seen on our sites.
